Light activity. The tour involves walking on mostly flat paths inside the monastery grounds and along the Dahab promenade, plus a few hours of driving each way. No climbing or hiking is involved. Suitable for families, older travellers and anyone who can walk comfortably for 30–45 minutes.

Free cancellation
Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour for a full refund. Within 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable.
Dress code
Shoulders and knees must be covered for women inside the monastery and surrounding religious area. Bring a scarf or cover-up.
Monastery closures
The monastery closes on Fridays, Sundays and Greek Orthodox holidays. If closed on your day, you will receive an alternative date or a full refund.
Passport required
Please bring a passport or photo ID — there are military checkpoints on the road between Sharm and St. Catherine.
Early start
Expect a pickup between 6:30 and 7:30 AM. The early start is required to reach the monastery before it closes to visitors at midday.
Photography
Photos are allowed in the outer grounds but strictly forbidden inside the church, the Chapel of the Burning Bush and the library.
